Leak Injection

Underground parking garage with concrete walls and ceiling, marked parking spaces with wheel stops, and a white pipe running along the ceiling.
  • Water ingress and moisture leads to significant damage, particularly in buildings lacking proper waterproofing.

  • Common problem areas include construction joints, movement joints, service penetrations, cracks, and compromised concrete.

  • We specialise in leak injection remediation waterproofing which addresses these vulnerabilities to extend the service life of your structure.

Our skilled operatives have extensive experience across a wide range of remedial applications, including:

  • Attenuation Tanks

  • Underground Car Parks

  • Tunnel Works

  • Bespoke Structures

  • Structural Repairs

WetGuard ensures that project- specific injection materials are selected and applied effectively.

Problems we solve

Inside an unfinished building with exposed concrete walls, a black pipe running vertically, and a warning sign about slipping on water. The floor is wet with water and construction materials are visible.
Concrete wall with streaks and stains, supporting a ceiling with water damage and mold buildup.
Underground parking garage with exposed pipes and a weathered, stained wall. A sign indicating 'No Parking' and no pedestrian access. A drainage channel on the ground with water and dirt, yellow safety barriers at the corner.

Our Technique

Our remedial services are tailored for each specific structure and typically include:

  • Targeted injection systems

  • Specialised grouting techniques

  • Crack repair and joint sealing

  • Waterproofing reinforcement for defective areas

Our targeted injection involves:

  • Drilling angled holes (typically at 45°) on both sides of the joint to intersect at the midpoint

  • Injecting water-reactive resins into the joint, allowing them to fill voids and seal active leaks

  • We use RASCOflex AY108 Acrylic Resin Gel, a soft but compact gel that expands on contact with water. The resin does not bond to concrete but creates a waterproof seal by increasing in volume, effectively displacing water and preventing further ingress, even under pressure.

  • Once the leak path is fully sealed under pressure, packers are removed and the injection points are patched.
